Customer service is not their strong point… We don’t live in town- spent all week trying to buy tickets as we know it’s a small cinema and didn’t want to drive all the way there and be turned away. The phone was never picked up, even during session times when obviously someone had to be there. Email went unanswered, still. No opening times anywhere to be found. We arrived 35 minutes before the movie and the door was open so we went to walk in and had someone yell at us from behind the counter that they aren’t open yet. They were so loud and so unexpected they actually frightened me, you’d have thought I was breaking in not walking in a door that was propped open.
Went outside to wait and asked another staff member approaching the cinema when it would open and she said “I don’t know.” Even when I bought the tickets and asked, the lad said it “usually opens about half hour before.” If it’s not open, it’s not open but provide that information somewhere, and maybe tell your staff?
The lad who shouted at me clearly takes his job seriously, but I think he might be the only one. It was disappointing that after spending the week trying to get anyone to talk to us the interactions were to be yelled at and told they don’t know.
The tickets are cheap, the popcorns nice, the bathrooms are clean and the movie plays. If you can avoid talking to the staff as well as they avoid talking to you, you’ll probably have a better experience than we did.
Took 4 of my Girl's (ages 10-14yrs) to see FNAF 🧸🔪🩸
Was great …
My son and group of friends attended cinema together, I was spoken to very rude by owner while picking them up about using cinema as a baby sitting service. Kids were perfectly behaved and are at an appropriate age where they can attend businesses without adult supervision. Very disappointed.
Plenty of car parking available under good lighting. The staff were polite and smiling, the waiting area is small with minimal seating but I also understand there is little room to improve this. I recommend getting there earlier if you wish to sit prior to entering the cinema room. The cinema seats and floors were clean. The sound was excellent and not overbearing or lacking. Mid movie I excused myself briefly and found the toilets were freshly mopped and smelt fresh and clean. Overall a very good experience.
Always a great place to go out and watch a movie and popcorn 🍿 and a choc top so mouth watering . Also the seats are really comfortable to sit in no matter how long the movie. Go and enjoy a great movie in comfort. …
Very unprofessional service! The movie was meant to start at 8:15pm and started once but lights were left on as they failed to seat everyone. The movie was then cut off 5 minutes in and the advertisements were started again.
Whilst buying tickets my age was asked which I told but they proceeded to ask for ID which led to me losing my place in the long line and running out to the car in the cold. Once I had reached the start of the line again, there was a young male of colour in front who also did not have his ID but he was let through with no problem. I travelled an hour to watch this movie that I was very keen for and due to how unprofessional the service was I left and 3 hours of my night was wasted. I will never watch a movie that is screening at this cinema ever again and I will never recommend it.
Love this cinema, drove 100km to go to it
The owners are very involved with the community even sponsoring our son as an individual with his sporting achievements. Staff are friendly and popcorn is always so fresh and they offer up to date movies and great screening times.
Went to see the new spider man movie with my boyfriend, I've seen it before but he hasn't so I knew there was 2 things after credits. When the movie ended we were told by one of the staff that there was nothing after the credits but after questioning it , we were told to "watch it on YouTube". Considering we paid , I don't think it was appropriate to try and get us to leave like that.
